Now thinking about running a positive thinking class!
Well, I still can’t explain how it happens that we have a negative crisis when we think about being more positive, but I know it happens, and knowing and expecting it is half the battle. We are seriously considering running a class, we have the space for it. You would pay some small fee up front (to discourage dropping out) and you would not be graded (exposure will be enough) and it would be a weekly class for several weeks. You will still get a certificate and maybe the fee would be a deposit you get back with perfect attendance. The class would consist of mostly games. You know, those constructive social games. And that sort of thing where you score by being positive. The classes being a week apart gives you time to go through and work out the crisis each time, and by the end you will hopefully have learned some new habits and developed new skills in dealing with the blues. I am excited about this! I will post when this plan gels.
